La Palmyre
Zoo : Located just 10 km north-west of Royan, this fourteen-hectare zoo
is home to animals from all over the world. More than 1,500 animals from all
five continents including lions, tigers, wolves, sea lions, polar bears, hippopotami,
zebras, rhinoceros, elephants, apes, ostriches, parrots, ibis, and even crocodiles.
